I've been working with the girls on the teenage section of "Values Parenting" by the Eyres. Right now we're talking about serendipity or the happy "accidents" that happen while you're searching for or doing something else. Last night Georgia and I were talking about all the things we used to do for fun since we didn't have a t.v. I've mentioned playing hide-and-seek before, but another game, that is a little bit less conventional, that we used to play is flipping on the stairs. We would flip all the way up and all the way down using this odd little system that we worked out. When you have to entertain yourself, how creative you can be... true serendipity! (great ab workout as well =) And to have the stories to tell and the wonderful memories years later, what a happy accident. As we were getting ready to leave, I looked over to see Tucker giving Daddy Jeff a "too tight" hug. I had to snag a quick picture because I wouldn't want to miss even one moment of serendipity!

Yes, I love Daddy's smile...and his laugh!
Sorry I'm so much older I didn't join in some of that fun but my memeories of "home" bring so much joy and lots of smiles! Thanks for reminding me!
what a cute picture, thanks for taking it and sharing it! :)
Tucker's hair is so cute! Great picture!
Love this post! You have a darling family! We've had the same TV for 14 years and it is on our last leg and you know what...we don't plan on buying another one when it dies! We are too busy too watch TV sometimes.
