Then, it was off to Savannah's soccer tournament. They've been in this tournament for four years, been in the finals for four years, and always gotten 2nd place! Well, they broke the curse yesterday and got first place. And best of all, the score was 1-0 and guess who made that one goal?!!
Savannah's been having a really great season with soccer, but the last couple of games were a little mediocre for her, so it was really great to pull through it. She does best when she gets mad and I guess she was a bit mad during the game. The parents of the other team were quite obnoxious and started calling her "Ging"- I thought that was pretty funny. I guess my theory is, you know you're being a noticeable player when the parents think it's worth making up a nickname for you.
We ended the night by watching "Mars Needs Moms" in 3-D.
I was a little worried before the show about how Tucker was going to do. He was SO excited and was talking non-stop at the top of his lungs- "What movie are we going to watch? Is it time to put our glasses on? Savannah, have you seen this movie? I like this popcorn." He is a child of extremes- and when he is extremely happy he sure does know how to enjoy life. Luckily he quietly watched the movie so we could all enjoy it. It was a good day.
