My little boy wants to grow up!

Sorry for those who have already heard this story...

As the girls were getting ready for school one night (packing lunches, backpacks, etc.), Ollie decided to get ready for school. We played along and helped him get a lunchbox which he packed with some crackers and a small box of crayons. He asked for help to get his shoes on and we asked how he was getting there. He replied, "Bus is coming." We watched out the window as he made his way down the driveway (it was almost 8 p.m.). He waited there for several minutes, then headed back to the house, tears streaming down his face. When we opened the door, he said, "Bus didn't come." I don't know if we played along too well or what, but I guess he truly thought the bus was coming for him. It was heartbreaking! I'm just glad it really won't happen for quite a few more years... even though he just can't wait.

that is a sweet story. it must be hard having such big sisters around doing fun things like riding the bus to school.

One of the strangest parts of that story is that Oliver doestnt know ANYONE that rides a school bus, or really a bus of any kind.
