You may have noticed I haven't posted in a bit. I have experienced a computer users worst nightmare. A crash of my hard drive. That's right, and when is the last time I backed things up? I can't say for sure, but probably along the lines of... never. Yep, all my revisions, corrections, and additions to my book.... gone. All my recent photos Tyler had not transfered to his laptop... gone. And numerous things I have yet to discover. We even have an external hard drive, but I never quite learned to use it (I know, I know, just plug it in and it tells you what to do) and I just didn't take the time to burn the disks. So, yes, I did learn a valuable lesson and Jaim has me set up better than before, but it is a painful process.
In other news... I got released! And just in time for the Primary Program next Sunday... called to be the Primary Chorister. Of course the kids don't know the songs and we had Regional Conference today, but with 2 practices under my belt we will fly right through! Other than that little detail, I am really excited to have this calling again. Especially because I have such great memories of when Mama was the chorister. Remember learning "Families Can Be Together Forever" when it first came out, Neal? Mama had us sing it for some sort of stake thing. It was a lot of fun. And singing as we rode in the back of the truck in the pastures in Kansas... those are great memories.

i just lived through the hard drive crash, too. it's so heartbreaking; i keep thinking of pictures that i know i don't have anymore. :( the worst thing was that i thought i had lost my 6800 names of family history. thank goodness, they're safe. phew.
ps i would LOVE a sling. how do you make them? they look so simple, but i'm kind of lame when it comes to figuring stuff out. :)
